Tai is employed by the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch as a Juvenile Probation Supervisor in the Bridgeport Superior Court for Juvenile Matters. Within the Judicial Branch, he serves as a member of the Juvenile Probation Training Advisory Committee, the Employee Well-Being Sub-Committee, and an Adjunct Trainer of Foundations of Cultural Responsiveness. He is a certified trainer and facilitator in Advancing Youth Development through the Academy of Educational Development and is a former Facilitator of the Family Violence Education Program (FVEP). Tai has a passion for serving the community and has dedicated himself especially to improving the academic and social development of inner-city youth. He is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Leadership, Education, and Athletics in Partnership (LEAP). Tai is a motivational speaker and workshop facilitator; through his public speaking and community initiatives, Tai seeks to “inspire, engage, inform and encourage” those he encounters.
