Bonita Grubbs has been the Executive Director of Christian Community Action since December, 1988, an ecumenical social service organization that provides emergency housing and supports for families, transitional housing for families and engaged in advocacy on behalf of and long with families and those who are poor. She is a Board Member for Connecticut Voices for Children and supports the work of the Partnership for Strong Communities to end housing instability and homelessness of youth and those involved in the Juvenile Justice System. She is a graduate of the Yale University Divinity School, and has an MPH, Health Services Administration, from Yale University School of Medicine. Her Bachelor’s degree from Smith College was in the field of Sociology and Afro-American Studies.
