
Emily Bohmbach is the TCB Senior Project Manager at the Tow Youth Justice Institute (TYJI). She brings extensive experience from various sectors within the healthcare field. Previously, Emily served as a Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Specialist at MiraVista Behavioral Health Center in Springfield, MA. In this role, she led quality improvement initiatives using diverse process improvement methodologies and spearheaded patient safety and rights initiatives. She was also a key member of the Joint Commission hospital team, preparing for accreditation.
Prior to MiraVista, Emily worked at Health Equity Solutions as a Health Policy & Advocacy Specialist, where she helped develop legislative language, fact sheets, and testimony for legislation, such as Medicaid Reimbursement for Community Health Workers. Emily has a robust background in qualitative data and methodologies, having conducted numerous focus groups and developed strategic plans and frameworks for incorporating equity into state Medicaid offices. Prior to her role at Health Equity Solutions, she interned at Yale New Haven Health as a Health Equity Intern while completing her Master of Public Health at Dartmouth College.
