Alexis Bivens has been the Program Director at the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation which focuses on the arts, the environment and learning disabilities. Prior to joining the Tremaine Foundation, Alexis worked with Fairfield County’s Community Foundation for seven years as their Thrive by 25 Director and a Program Director for Education and Youth Development. She worked at the McGivney Community Center in Bridgeport as their Development Director and Education, Training and Assessment Coordinator. She was also a Life Skills Instructor for New Haven Adult Education and a Facilitator of Youth Development Training and Resource Development at The Consultation Center. Alexis received her Bachelor of Arts Social Work at Eastern Connecticut State University and her Master of Arts Community Counseling at Fairfield University.
