Restorative Practices Resources
Research is growing in support of alternative approaches to punitive discipline policies, as they are not effective ways to respond to challenging behavior. In fact, there is increasing evidence of a long-term destructive impact on the individuals being punished, as well as their communities, resulting in higher rates of repeated negative behaviors and damage to the school community.
