Capstone Project: Rebranding the In-School-Suspension Program: Currently, there is not an environment that incorporates Restorative Justice practices as a preventative tool in all areas of schools. As a community, individuals need to understand that Restorative Practices are defined as formulating new relationships and having a safe space to resolve a conflict. Restorative Justice goals that need to be implemented are coaching staff on how to integrate Restorative Practices and Circles in classroom settings related to social, emotional learning, and the curriculum. There needs to be supported to demonstrate how to use Circles in a classroom setting as well effectively.
