“I have been a New Haven Police Department member for the past 13 years. I am a 2005 graduate of the University of New Haven with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (2006), and a Master of Science degree in National Security (2007). I am a current member of the New Haven Police Department’s Hostage Negation team, Fatal Accident Reconstruction Team, and Crowd Control. I was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. I take pride in serving others and building strong communities. I am a family man who enjoys taking weekend vacations, playing sports with my son, creating arts and crafts with my daughters, and catching up on the latest sports highlights. I have been married to my wife, Krystal Finch, for 12 years, and we have three children, PJ (11), Ava (8), and Eva (3).I have been an active member of Cornerstone Christian Center since 2006. I have served as the head of the Security Ministry since 2010 and a Deacon since 2014.”
