“I have been at New Haven since the start of my freshman year in 2017 and I started working for the TYJI this past summer on the Social Justice School
project. My goals for this internship are to help make a difference by assisting with research that will benefit the youth of Connecticut while also learning more about research and policy. The TYJI does amazing work in youth justice advocacy and reform and I am honored to be a part of it. I am also interested in working in research and advocacy in the future and the TYJI gives me a first look into what that future could look like.”
