Community Partnerships Project Coordinator

Jacqueline Marks serves as a Community Partnerships Project Coordinator for the Data Driven Community Violence Prevention Initiative. At Central Connecticut State University, she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in sociology. Jacqueline is a lifelong New Haven resident who was born into a family of community organizers. She has been involved in community engagement since adolescence and continues to strive daily to reduce disparities across communities while encouraging economic growth and development. She has used her experience in community advocacy, collaborating with local and state council members, and community service to represent the disadvantaged and foster hope. Jacqueline believes true positive change can occur through legislative reform and will pursue this passion in all her endeavors.
