Jacqueline Marks serves as a Project Coordinator for the Transforming Children’s Behavioral Health Policy and Planning Committee. At Central Connecticut State University, she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a sociology minor. Jacqueline is a lifelong New Haven resident who was born into a family of community organizers. She has been involved in community engagement since an adolescent and continues to strive daily to reduce disparities throughout all communities while encouraging economic growth and development. She has used her experience in community advocacy, collaborating with local and state council members, and community service to represent the disadvantaged and foster hope. Jacqueline believes true positive change can occur through legislation reform and will pursue this passion through all of her endeavors.
