My name is Dishon K. Rucker. I currently hold the position of Assistant Program Manager for the Hamden REGIONS program of Community Partners in Action. I am eagerly looking forward to this opportunity to deepen my knowledge of Juvenile Justice Reform.
Since 2005 I have worked in various phases of the human services field. I have worked in direct service positions with children, adults, and families as a collective unit. What I have found in these experiences is that a positive and consistent intervention will have a positive impact on those we serve and a lasting impact on the communities we live in. This opportunity will provide me with an opportunity to be around professionals with similar passions and different experiences that will all lead to better meeting the evolving needs of those we serve.
